Many A-Level Psychology students understand the content but struggle to turn that knowledge into high-mark answers.
The programme develops the AO1, AO2, AO3 and Research Methods skills students need to apply their knowledge effectively and perform confidently in exams.
These courses are suitable for Year 12 and Year 13 A-Level Psychology students following the AQA specification, whether they want to get ahead, improve their current grade or strengthen their exam performance.
Students can choose Paper 1, Paper 2, Research Methods, or a combination of courses depending on the support they need.
Year 13 students can also access additional Paper 3 support later in the academic year.
This isn't simply tuition covering the A-Level Psychology content.
Students are taught how to think about questions like an examiner — understanding what each question requires, how marks are awarded and how to turn their Psychology knowledge into stronger answers.
✓ Examiner-led teaching from an experienced A-Level Psychology teacher and examiner
✓ Exam technique taught alongside the content, rather than added at the end
✓ Exam questions built into lessons so students regularly apply what they learn
✓ Specialist Research Methods teaching, rather than treating it as an afterthought
✓ Structured assessment and feedback so students know exactly where they need to improve
The aim is simple: students don't just know more Psychology — they become better at answering Psychology exam questions.
Most students respond to difficulties by revising more content. The Examiner Logic Method™ focuses on turning that knowledge into marks.
Students learn what examiners reward, how strong answers are structured and how AO1, AO2 and AO3 work together — helping them approach questions more strategically and avoid the common mistakes that limit marks.
Students see high-level answers, essay structures and examiner expectations modelled clearly.
Students apply the same techniques through guided practice, exam questions and assessment tasks.
Through repetition and examiner feedback, students develop stronger exam technique, evaluation and confidence under exam conditions.

HOW SPECIALIST 1:1 TUITION CAN COMPARE
IMPORTANT: The prices directly below are typical specialist 1:1 tutor rates — NOT PsychologyTutorUK prices.
Experienced specialist A-Level tutors can charge around £80–£100+ for a single 1:1 lesson.
At those rates, weekly 1:1 tuition could cost around £320–£400+ per month for approximately 4 hours of teaching — with homework, assessments and ongoing feedback not necessarily included.
PsychologyTutorUK works differently.
The small-group model gives students access to experienced, examiner-led teaching at a much lower cost per hour, while still receiving personalised support.
✓ Personally marked homework
✓ Individual examiner feedback
✓ Regular assessments
✓ Dedicated revision
✓ Lesson recordings and resources
More teaching.
Personalised examiner feedback.
Without paying specialist 1:1 rates every week
Regular assessment is built into every course so students can identify weaknesses, improve their exam technique and track their progress throughout the year.
Students complete shorter assessments as the course progresses, followed by a larger assessment period over Easter covering the content taught across the programme.
Every assessment is personally marked by an AQA Examiner (Grant) , with individual feedback showing students where they are gaining and losing marks — and what they need to do to improve.
Students also receive access to a dedicated Google Classroom where they can:
Access lesson recordings
Access podcasts as a form of pre-reading before each lesson
Access lesson slides and materials
Submit homework for marking and feedback
Access assessment materials and feedback
Keep all course resources organised in one place
